Coming from an engineering and drawing office background, I joined Gilchrist Studios, London, as a trainee technical illustrator. During my time at this large and busy studio, I gained a thorough and rounded knowledge of the varied disciplines of commercial art and illustration. I was also fortunate to spend some time working "off premises" at publishers such as Reader's Digest and Mitchell Beazley, and eventually, became a freelance illustrator. Since then, I have been continuously involved in illustrating a wide variety of projects for publishing and advertising. I now work from my studio near Rye, East Sussex, England. |
